United Petroleum Transports President and CEO Greg Price and Chief Operating Officer David Price have appointed Chris Busby as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and named Devin Elder as the company’s Controller.

 

Busby joined UPT in 2019 and most recently served as the company’s controller. Prior to joining UPT, he served as the director of finance for the Oklahoma City-based supermarket chain Buy for Less and was previously CFO for Valir Health in Oklahoma City. Busby holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA from Oklahoma State University. He is also a certified public accountant.

 

As CFO, Busby will lead UPT’s finance team, as well as management of cash flow, financial planning and profitability.

 

Elder joined UPT in 2019 and most recently served as the company’s assistant controller. He is a University of Central Oklahoma graduate, receiving both a degree in accounting and an MBA from the school. He also received his CPA designation in 2015. Before joining UPT, Devin had several years of accounting experience, most recently with SEF Energy, an Oklahoma City oil and gas services firm. Prior to that, he served as an accounting supervisor with Sonic Drive-In and also an accounting manager at APMEX, a precious metals ecommerce retailer.
